Club Report
Due to the decline in Membership since the inception of Club Payne, and the shortfall in income in 2013, the concern was that the set amount of $150 and $75 as dues amounts was higher than many family members would pay. It was decided to try a new approach with Member Units of $25 referred to as “Bricks.” This would give membership to any Payne descendant who gave $25 or more. This brought us many new members and an increase in income. Membership increased from fifteen in 2013 to 32 in 2014. This tied the highest member total ever for Club Payne, but still fell short of raising enough income to cover the bills.
To facilitate contributions, Club Payne added online payments to their website. All these payments will be processed through PayPal via a PayPal account or with a major credit card.
Elections brought new Officers and a new Board of Directors.
